CMHS Door Decorating

This year, Memorial students decked the halls with a STEM door decorating challenge. Students had to utilize graphic design skills to create a holiday poster. They then used these posters as the basis of their door decorations. Great work to all students who participated, and congratulations to Jalaya and Jaemya for winning first place!

4th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Mr. McCray and his Marketing students held their 4th annual Thanksgiving food drive. Students created flyers, promoted the event, gathered participation data, and collected all donated items. This year, they collected over 500 canned and non-perishable items.

The drive’s success reflects the generosity of our students and staff. As part of giving back to their community, the students chose to donate all items to Benjamin Santiago, who operates The Porch Pantry in Campbell, Ohio.

Anyone wishing to support this cause can contact The Porch Pantry at ytownlatina4@gmail.com

Mrs. Lowery's VR Lesson

Today at Memorial, Mrs. Lowery's science classes were able to explore the virtual reality world with the help of Mrs. Ayer's from the ESC. Biology students went into a cell to produce proteins.  Anatomy classes explored the systems of the Human Body from the inside. Environmental Science kayaked around Antarctica while exploring the landscape and wildlife.
We are grateful for this unique opportunity to learn in a different way.
