The Senior Experience class at Memorial High School is holding a Crayon Drive to help patients at Akron Children’s Hospital for National Crayon Day on March 31.
Your generous contribution will bring joy and endless possibilities to these children, allowing them to unleash their artistic talents as a form of therapy. Students should bring crayons to their 3rd period class. The 3rd period class with most crayons will receive a Dunkin’ Donuts day.
Community members who wish to contribute may bring their crayons to the main office at Campbell Memorial High School. Bring crayons for the Senior Experience Crayon Drive! Let’s color their world with kindness!
Memorial High School students attended the Youngstown Phantoms Hockey for Health Day. Students earned the privilege of attending by earning Distinguished Devil status or enough Devil Dollars to purchase a trip. Students had a great time learning about the game of hockey and enjoyed a Phantoms win!
Wednesday YSU athletes visited Memorial High School to talk to student athletes. The students heard about each athletes journey to YSU and learned a lot about what it takes to be a college level athlete. Will Rauber from HD Growth Partners explained the Penguin Collective NIL process and Joe Kijowski of Mr. Rooter Plumbing sponsored the trip, supplying new stocking caps for the Memorial athletes. A big thank you to all involved!
